A Global Community Working Together for the Benefit of Those Living with Bipolar Disorder

The mission of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders is to foster international collaboration in education, research and clinical care to improve the lives of those with bipolar disorder and related conditions.

The ISBD is motivated by and focused on real solutions to the challenges faced by those living with bipolar disorder.  The Society embraces an open, collaborative approach to bipolar care that focuses on academic integrity, embraces diverse perspectives, and recognizes the value of lived experience.

The ISBD Annual Conference is the flagship event of the Society, which also supports education through live webinars and online resources.

Encouraging and supporting the next generation is critical; the Early Mid-Career Committee and Awards offerings are designed to address this need.

ISBD Task Forces leverage  worldwide collaboration to bring new perspectives and solutions to difficult problems in our field.

Chapters provide us international perspective and reach, and World Bipolar Day gives everyone a chance to contribute to the ISBD mission.
