The ISBD is pleased to report that the Impact Factor for Bipolar
Disorders - An International Journal of Psychiatry and Neurosciences,
the official journal of the ISBD, has been released for the year
2004. The new Impact Factor is 4.065 with a ranking of 11th out
of 90 Psychiatry Journals. The previous Impact Factor for 2003
was 3.658 with a ranking of 15th out of 87. Since its first ranking
in 2002, the Journal has made a substantial leap from its initial
ranking of 19th out of 88. The number represents more than impact;
it also reflects the continued hard work and dedication of the
editorial staff, and the ISBD applauds this significant achievement
for the Journal.
