Portuguese Society for Bipolar Disorders
Mission: The purpose of the Society is to promote, among the medical profession, the community, patients, and caretakers, a proper understanding of bipolar disorder and its management via education, scientific research, and collaboration with loval and international professional bodies. The PSBD lists its objectives as follows
- To create a research network among mental health professionals interested in bipolar disorders.
- To promote awareness of this condition in the Portuguese society at large.
- To help promote awareness and education about this condition among mental health care professionals in our region.
- To promote and support national and regional conferences to provide scientific and educational programs.
- To help promote ISBD values, publications and activities.
